#SixforSunday: 2021 Fall Releases on My TBR

I hope you all are having a great weekend! #SixforSunday is a weekly meme hosted by Steph @ A Little But a Lot. This week’s topic is the books we’re excited about for the rest of the year so I included the 2021 fall releases that I can’t wait to read!

456818951. THE BRONZED BEAST
This is the conclusion to The Gilded Wolves trilogy and I’m really excited to finally get my hands on it! The second book left us with such a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see how it’s all going to play out. The stakes are going to be even higher in this book and I’m counting down the days until it release.

540178202. LITTLE THIEVES
I’m a huge fan of The Merciful Crow duology and I’ve been waiting for Margaret Owen’s next book ever since finishing The Faithless Hawk. The synopsis of this book sounds amazing: a retelling of The Goose Girl told through the POV of the anti-heroine? Yes, please! Everything about this sounds fun and I know the author is going to absolute kill it.

565546263. THE EX HEX
I love reading witchy, magical books in the fall in preparation for Halloween, and this is going to be coming out at the perfect time. I keep seeing this book being pitched as Hocus Focus with romance and honestly, I didn’t even need to hear anything else. I’ve been waiting eagerly for this and I’m glad I don’t have to wait much longer!

50882354._SY475_4. THE GILDED CAGE
I just recently finished The Prison Healer after reading rave review after rave review, and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been moving away from YA Fantasy lately, but this is one series that has renewed my love for the genre. The ending of The Prison Healer absolutely blew my mind and I cannot wait to see what happens next and how it’s all going to play out!

58011851._SY475_5. LAKESEDGE
There have been a lot of dark, gothic books releasing this year that I was excited about, but sadly only one so far has thrilled me. I’m really hoping that Lakesedge will also hold up to my expectations as well! I’m thankful that I was approved for an ARC so I’m hoping to get to this one sooner rather than later!

55918521._SX318_6. MIDNIGHT IN EVERWOOD
As I said in an earlier post, I’ve always dreamt and hoped for a Nutcracker-inspired retelling and my dreams are finally coming true with this release! It seems to be keeping a pretty low profile and I haven’t heard much about it still, so I really hope it still gets released later this year. I’m also still keeping my fingers crossed that I can get my hands on an early copy!

561793387. ALL OF US VILLAINS
I love both Christine Lynn Herman and Amanda Foody’s previous series so I have really high hopes for this one! I’ve seen it described as a bloodier, darker The Hunger Games and I could not be more excited to read it. I was also approved for an ARC for this one so I’m hoping to get to it really soon.

What 2021 releases for the second half of the year are you most excited for? Are any of my choices on your TBR? Let’s chat in the comments!
